2. MY GENERATION

To everyone who ever criticized
For those who ever encouraged
And to many out there who do not care

We recognize your contribution to who we are;
But we know too that 'we had to be who we want to be'
It's time to be the captains of our own destiny

We may crumble and fall;
We make mistakes, but we are not stupid
We may do things in our own way;
We may seem like crossing lines;
At the end of the day, 
We have to get up and fight back.

Our  time is today and tomorrow
The past do not have a hold on us
We learn from what went well
And a good lesson is not about what you excelled in
After all we need to know how the mistakes you made

The ball is in our hands
We have to play it well for present and future 
As long as the choice is ours,
We need to prove a point? Yes

Doors may be closed
The storm maybe hard to stand outside
But tomorrow there is no need to knock again
The better shelter is much better when you own it

My generation is not the way you want it to be
My generation is shaping itself into the image of tomorrow
Today is the time of it to blossom, 
The next day it will be too late

We know you are worried 
Then know that we are not reckless
Our choices are sometimes weird to you
It is not so bad that we are so-called
"Generation Facebook"

We gonna be alright
We just need you to understand us
We just need you to show us how to ride
We do not need your lift
Tell us about wrong turns and how to avoid them
Your back is too loaded to carry the future for us!
